Why these people drive me crazy.

One group of people that absolutely drive me crazy are people such as fundamentalists who not only oppose, but openly condemn and publicly critisize mothers who have given birth using in vitro fertilization. My frustration comes from an event that occured a while ago, I think almost a year maybe. I attened at that time a Private Catholic school and was in my religion class and the discussion was one of the ethics and morality of the process. NONE of the students took a pro stance and neither did the teacher. Myself, being the result of an in vitro fertilization, spoke up. The net result was my teacher constantly shooting down my statements before i could even finish them. Let me just make a couple points. 1. There are some things in life where one MUST experience it to fully understand it. In vitro fertilization is one of them. 2. Every woman has the right to give birth. Just because some women have physical defects does not mean they should be prohibited from having a family. I will relate this to point 1. My mother was actually on the news because of her faailure to conceive, and willingness to try a brand new surgery aimed at allowing for natural conception. I watched this video when i was just 13 years old. In the video (its a news broadcast) the surgery fails, and the final shot is of the camera man saying something like "and ******* will not be having a baby after all...and my mothers face pouring with tears. the video mad me cry. My point is that people dont understand what women sometimes have to go through just to have something that most women can have with no problem at all. If a person cant hear, is it "immoral" to give them a hearing aid? I understand giving birth is more sensative than the ability to hear, but the concept is the same. A woman has no control at all if her body will or will not allow a fetus to form, and the pain and suffering that these women go through, on top of all the stress, money, and struggles of the process itself, Its really just rude, dumb, and horrible to pretend like these women are commiting an act against God. get real people.
